Artist Background

Being an RAF baby Julie Ann lived abroad until age 6. She then grew up in the South and North of England. After leaving school, she set off to find her real father, see the world and spent an eventful and adventurous few years abroad. After working as a catwalk model in Israel, touring as an actress in California, and travelling around much of Eastern Europe doing mission work, she returned to England and settled.

Having excelled in art at school, she began to paint once more. Being dyslexic however, she decided to teach herself oils by painting everyday for a year in her studio. After much hard work her style emerged and she started to create her dazzling oils.

Julie Ann then spent 20 years living in the English Lake District, selling to galleries nationwide. She now lives in Dorset on the south coast of England. For over 10 years her work was exhibited to great acclaim across the UK and was distributed by De Montfort Fine Art, Englands largest art agents.

Product Specification

We use 2mm cast acrylic, which is visually indistinguishable from glass and virtually unbreakable.

We specifically do not use styrene, as, though cheaper, it is normally only 1mm thick, offers far less support, and goes yellow over time.

We use MDF backboard for strength. As MDF is a wood product, it can contain acids. To safeguard against these leeching out and affecting your print, we insert an acid free sheet of conservation barrier board between the back and print.

All of our prints are delivered ready to hang.
