Delivery

Delivery is free of charge to Mainland UK. The Channel Islands and Isle of Man is charged at £2.99, regardless of the number of items, and free if over £100.00. Delivery to the island of Ireland is £4.99, regardless of the number of items, and free if over £100.00.

Goods are normally dispatched on the next working day by Next Business Day although this can take up to two days in practise and longer for the islands.  Canvases can take longer to allow the lacquer we apply to dry properly.

Collection

You can collect free of charge from our Market Harborough Store which is open from 9am to 5pm on Monday to Friday or by appointment.

Avril is self-taught artist born in 1975 on the most northerly island in Scotland, called the Shetland Islands. Drawing and painting has always been part of her life. More recently she decided to embrace her hobby and branch out into business.  In May 2023 a retail outlet showcasing her work opened on Commercial Street in Lerwick. The Shetland Islands has inspired her to create a large collection of colourful acrylic croft house paintings showcasing the beauty of the islands.

We use 2mm cast acrylic, which is visually indistinguishable from glass and virtually unbreakable. 

We specifically do not use styrene, as, though cheaper, it is normally only 1mm thick, offers far less support, and goes yellow over time. 

We use MDF backboard for strength. As MDF is a wood product, it can contain acids. To safeguard against these leeching out and affecting your print, we insert an acid free sheet of conservation barrier board between the back and print. 

All of our prints are delivered ready to hang.
