Artist Background

Award-winning nature and landscape photographer Dennis Frates developed a love for photography and the natural world from an early age, purchasing his first camera at the age of 14 with money earned from a paper route. Dennis Studied physical geography and ecology at college, receiving a master's degree in these subjects. Photography allows him to bring emotion into his own life and to that of others, the physical landscapes he studied providing all the inspiration he could ever wish for. Dennis has photographed extensively in the Western USA and abroad, finding inspiration and creating unique fine-art compositions in some of the worlds most awe-inspiring locations.

Product Specification

We use 2mm cast acrylic, which is visually indistinguishable from glass and virtually unbreakable.

We specifically do not use styrene, as, though cheaper, it is normally only 1mm thick, offers far less support, and goes yellow over time.

We use MDF backboard for strength. As MDF is a wood product, it can contain acids. To safeguard against these leeching out and affecting your print, we insert an acid free sheet of conservation barrier board between the back and print.

All of our prints are delivered ready to hang.
