Artist Background
Artist Background
An avid musician, David Clapp never expected to become a landscape and travel photographer. Already familiar with sequencing software from playing the guitar, he found the transition to cameras and Photoshop easy and even translates the sequencing of electronic music into his images.
David spent years locked in a non-creative working environment, so when commissioned work came along in 2009, he made his escape and went fully professional. His aim is to use the camera as a vehicle for adventure. Equally at home shooting in a chaotic capital city as he is in nature, David loves to capture architecture and landscapes and the changing conditions that produce that rare shot. He is a technical specialist and continues to push the boundaries of photography as technology develops.
David is a regular contributor to a variety of publications including Digital Photographer & Photographer Monthly and represents Canon at top industry events such as ‘The Outdoor Show’ and ‘The Photography Show’.

Product Specification
We use 2mm cast acrylic, which is visually indistinguishable from glass and virtually unbreakable.
We specifically do not use styrene, as, though cheaper, it is normally only 1mm thick, offers far less support, and goes yellow over time.
We use MDF backboard for strength. As MDF is a wood product, it can contain acids. To safeguard against these leeching out and affecting your print, we insert an acid free sheet of conservation barrier board between the back and print.
All of our prints are delivered ready to hang.
