Artist Background

Lee Frost was born in 1966 in Yorkshire and aged 15 he picked up a camera for the first time, igniting a deep passion. A self-taught photographer, he has become one of the best-known photography writers in the world with a number of best-selling books to his name including, 'The A-Z of Creative Photography', 'Teach Yourself Photography', 'Taking Pictures for Profit', and 'The Complete Guide to Night & Lowlight Photography'. Lee also writes for numerous photographic magazines and runs courses where he passes on his knowledge and expertise to groups of photographic enthusiasts. When he does manage to get behind the camera (which is now all too infrequently), it is the landscape where he finds his inspiration.

Product Specification

We use 2mm cast acrylic, which is visually indistinguishable from glass and virtually unbreakable.

We specifically do not use styrene, as, though cheaper, it is normally only 1mm thick, offers far less support, and goes yellow over time.

We use MDF backboard for strength. As MDF is a wood product, it can contain acids. To safeguard against these leeching out and affecting your print, we insert an acid free sheet of conservation barrier board between the back and print.

All of our prints are delivered ready to hang.
